Douglas Johnson is the founder of Douglas Medical Products, Inc. Prior to joining Douglas Medical Products, Inc., Mr. Johnson served in a variety of management and leadership positions including Chief Operating Officer, VP Sales, and VP of Medical Device Operations. He started his career at Baxter (12 years) in progressive corporate financial and marketing functions. In his final marketing position at Baxter, he oversaw the entire Base IV Administration Set Business ($140MM), Vein Access line, Chemotherapy Infuser line, the Custom IV Administration Set Business and was responsible with the launching of new products/concepts within the IV Systems Division. Since leaving Baxter 27 years ago, he has been involved in 7 early commercialization stage and start-up medical device & pharmaceutical companies, where 4 were acquired.
Torsten Nilson Founder
Torsten Nilson is an accomplished Senior Executive with more than 30 years of demonstrated success spanning the medical devices, IV Infusion, Blow-Fill-Seal and medical manufacturing industries. He has broad areas of expertise include global manufacturing, global strategy, revenue generation, turnaround, product development, lean manufacturing, go-to-market strategy, and process improvement. In short, a hands-on strategic leader that drive business. Fluent in Swedish and English.
Throughout his executive career, he has held several leadership positions. Director Operations Strategy with Hospira, Inc., Vice President Medical with Tekni-Plex International, President OEM Contract Manufacturing and Sterile Solutions at Amsino Medical Group, to name a few beside President positions at Perstorp and two Nolato companies.
Torsten holds a Master of Science degree in Engineering from Lund’s Institute of Technology in Sweden and a BS in Physical Sciences from Lund’s College. He has served on a number of boards including President for the Swedish American Chamber of Commerce.
Jenna Johnson Director of Sales
Jenna joins the EcoFLX team as Director of Business Development with a robust background in creative communication solutions, strategic sales, and holistic wellness. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Northwestern University, focusing on Gender Studies, Communication Studies, and Holistic Approaches in Western Healthcare.
As Director of Business Development, Jenna brings a wealth of experience and innovative insight, and is responsible for managing EcoFLX accounts and developing new client relationships.
